A hyperrealistic technique of drawing eyebrows manually using microblading, PhiBrows is one of the most popular beauty treatments today thanks to the range of benifits it provides.
Microblading is the name given to the manual cosmetic, semi-permanent technique of hyper-realistic eyebrow drawing of the eyebrow. Its painless, effective and safe.
Pigment is inserted under the skin using a microblade tool with needles which creates a defined natural-looking eyebrow.
The treatment is made up of two sessions, 6 weeks apart.
The second session 'top-up' session involves filling & restoring any lost pigment and topping-up your overall brows.
A consultation is always required before your actual treatment. More details below.
Clients may feel a scraping type of sensation in the brow area. Anaesthetic cream & ointment will be used to numb the eyebrow area, this will reduce any discomfort.
You must be 18 years or older.
A consultation is always required before your actual treatment. This gives us a chance to meet, show you the salon and discuss your treatment, answer questions and discuss the look you want.
We check that the pigment is suitable for your skin using a patch test. For at least 1 month before, and 30 days after your appointment, you must stop using any Retin-A or retinol, botox treatments & products.
On the day of the treatment, please do not take Aspirin, and do not drink alcohol.
Microblading can only proceed where your skin is healthy, and not broken or damaged due to conditions such as eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, acne, or pimples in the eyebrow area.
There are medical conditions and personal circumstances under which microblading treatment cannot go ahead.
All treatments come with a free aftercare pack. Aftercare is vital to ensure your brows heel and you achieve the best results & longevity of your new brows.
After your treatment, wipe your brows every 2-3 hours with a damp cotton pad to remove all traces of lymph, pat the brows dry and apply the aftercare balm that will be in your aftercare take home pack.
Continue this process on day 2. Removing the lymph will prevent the formation of scabs and ensure the best possible healing process. From day 3 onwards, lymph will no longer be present, however, if your brows feel dry, apply the aftercare balm, but do not over apply the balm as this can cause poor pigmentation retention.
If your brows feel dry & itchy then apply balm (only during days 1 and 2) to relieve and comfort the brows.
